Deployment Guides

Below are the deployment processes for RAMP's authentication and authorization components for Fedora 2.2. The intended system is Linux but with minor modification, the guide can be used to work with Windows.

It is recommended that you have two machines for the deployment. One machine should be used to install Fedora 2.2 server and its associated components below, while another one is for deploying the mura web GUI.

Important: Many of the components below make use of a Tomcat container. If you are using Tomcat 5.x.x and JDK 1.5.x, please go to your TOMCAT_HOME/common/endorsed and remove all the jar files found there. These have been known to cause problems, conflicting with newer version of the same libraries that come with Sun JDK.
